R3 VLCD Day 32

Let the Cheating Begin

...well, sort of. As the level of HcG goes down, I find that I'm hungrier than normal and the desires for FOOD become that much stronger. I indulged last night with extra carbs in the form of cantaloupe and Triscuits...probably an extra 300-400 calories' worth.

Fortunately, my weight was unchanged this morning, which was a pleasant surprise.

I'll probably do the same today, aiming for about 900 calories, and then up to 1200 calories tomorrow before starting P3.

On to my commenters:

Becca, thanks so much for your kind words yesterday. Yes, P3/P4 can be a challenge. I remember reading other people's messages on the HCG2 message board as they struggled to find the proper balance and maintain their weight. My plan is to increase physical activity to the point that I can pretty much eat anything and not gain weight. Spring and early summer are the perfect time to begin a physical program, and food choices are much better as well: lots of healthy produce at reasonable prices (well, we'll see about that).

If you read this blog, and want me to continue posting, please let me know. I enjoy writing and talking with each one of you, but will only continue if it makes sense for all of us and it brings value to your day.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

I for one would love to see how the phases do for you, how you maintain, and how this effects your mental state. So yes, count me in!

Marshall, I'm sure you'll get others besides biz and me who will want to continue reading. We will also want updates on your wife as well. I've always been interested in how the 500 calorie diet could be done safely without the HCG and she's had such great success with it...
